Citing a spike in reported COVID-19 cases, the states of Michigan and Washington have once again shut down bowling centers.

The move comes as a blow to bowling leaders in those states, who had fought hard to end months-long closures.

In Michigan, it was mandated that bowling centers, skating rinks and other indoor entertainment businesses shut down for three weeks, beginning Wednesday. Read more here:

In Washington, the mandated closures began Monday night, and included bowling centers, fitness facilities and gyms, movie theaters, museums, zoos and aquariums. Grocery stores must limit occupancy at any given time to 25% of capacity. The new restrictions are expected to be in place for “at least four weeks.” Report:
